Guests are greeted and given an introduction to the restaurant. Once seated you are given a complimentary fresh vegetable bowl with dip and bread. The waiter or waitress then has a meat presentation. After an appetizer you order your salad, entrée, dessert and after dinner drinks. “We try and separate ourselves from others,” said Bard McLean, owner and operator.

How long will our Dinning experience take? 
By the time you sit down and eat, about two hours. “You can have a nice comfortable dinner,”.
 

What is on the menu?
 
Despite being a steakhouse, we serve a lot more than just steak. We have a separate lunch and dinner menu as well as a menu that can be used all day. Lunch: appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches and a few entrees. Dinner: appetizers, salads, potatoes and vegetables, grilles and roasts. The inside of the dinner menu is their wine list.
 

What is the price range?
 
Lunch: it can range from a cup of soup for $5 to $15 for a prime ribeye steak or a filet mignon. Salads and sandwiches range from $8-$12.Dinner: it can range from $5 for a cup of soup to $45 for their Cowboy Ribeye USDA Prime 28/32 ounce.

What kind of portions are served?
 
A la Carte. Portions are large enough to share. Everything you order you can also share with the rest of your party.

Where can I park?
 
Valet parking. Hyatt’s parking garage, courthouse parking lot, the street or the docks if you have a boat.
 

What is the guest profile?
 
Hyatt guests, business people and locals. There are more locals on the weekends.
 

Do I need reservations?
 
They are recommended, but if you walk in we will do their best to serve you.
 

What does the Bar offer?
 
Full Bar. We have our own martini list, dessert wines, after dinner drinks and cigars.
 

What are the drink prices?
 
$4.50-$6 for beer, $8.50-$15 for wine and $6.25-$9.50 for mixed drinks.
 Plaza III celebrates happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, offering half price for well drinks, domestic beer and Plaza III Wines. 

Do you have entertainment?
 
There is live entertainment from 6-10 p.m. Thursday-Saturday.

Plaza III is not a national chain. We are privately owned and locally operated. Restaurant Owners, Bard and Linda McLean,  said there is a lot of history behind the steakhouse, which dates back to 1963.

There are two dining rooms for private functions.
