Plaza III introduces two evenings of dining and dancing on the first Thursdays of the month in May and June.

"Dance with me at Plaza III" will begin 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, May 8 and at the same time Thursday, June 5.

Both evening events will feature musical artists Doyle Primm and Lorna Greenwood, who work under the name "Stereotype."

"We hosted the event once in April to work out logistics in the restaurant and it went very well," said Plaza III General Manager Carol Morales.  "It was also well-received by our guests that evening.  If our next two events go as well, and capture the attention of those who love to dance, we hope to make it a monthly event at the restaurant."

The Plaza III Dinner and Dancing Special includes dinner for two for $99, which includes four courses per person and a bottle of Plaza III Wine.  Our regular dinner menu and wine list are also available.

Both events are preceded by happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m.

For couples who want to make the night even more memorable, we've also coordinated a limousine special with VIP Limo - who can be reached at 265-5466.

Jurors/Courthouse Special Now Offered to All Lunch Guests -- Reintroducing the Plaza III Downtown Lunch Special

When Plaza III worked with Jim Fuller of the Duval County Clerk of the Court to develop a lunch special for jurors and courthouse employees, we were pleasantly surprised at the results.

Well, when we added three new lunch specials to the menu, we also decided to offer it to all our guests.

Beginning in May, all guests now have the option to enjoy our lunch specials - in addition to our regular lunch menu.

The Plaza III Downtown Lunch Special is only $7.99 plus tax and gratuity - and there are six specials to choose from:

· Plaza III Hamburger with Cheese/Bacon (new)
· Chicken Fried Chicken (new)
· Honey Mustard Chicken Salad (new)
· Blackjack Meatloaf
· Plaza III Club Sandwich
· Soup (Steak Soup, Seafood Bisque) & Salad (Caesar, Spinach, or Garden)

Each comes with a side item and non-alcoholic beverage (not including Voss, Fiji or Espresso Coffee Drinks). The Plaza III Downtown Lunch Special is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each weekday.

Introduced last fall, the Plaza III "Prix Fixe" is a full course meal that only costs $35 a person.  The "Prix Fixe" includes a choice of appetizer (Seafood Bisque, Garden Salad or Caesar Salad), an entrée (Filet Mignon Filet, Prime Rib, Grilled Chicken Florentine, or Cajun Seared Tuna - each with a side item) and Dessert (Crème Brule or Cheesecake).
